BEST NEW MUSIC CAMP FOR KIDS: TENNESSEE TEENS ROCK’N’ ROLL CAMP The best song written about the Deepwater Horizon tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico, you should know, was called “Deepwater Horizon,” and written by a band called Rolling Radiation, who had only existed for a week — they met and formed at the inaugural Tennessee Teens Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp, the new, co-educational offshoot of the venerable Southern Girls Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp. If living in an industry town has made you forget that music is about fun and friendship and nervousness and joy, do us all a favor and send a kid — maybe even your own — to this camp next year. Part of Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities mission is to open the world of music to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Last summer over 20% of campers received either a half or full scholarship, and as we are offering 5 weeks of camp in the Summer of 2011 we will have a greater need of scholarship dollars. A donation in any amount would be appreciated but your $300 donation will make sure one deserving camper has a rockin’ good time and enjoys the empowering, community building experience that is at the heart of YEAH!.

YEAH!'s Summer Camps rely heavily on the use and donation of equipment, please visit the appropriate camp website to donate gear for the week of camp. Click Here for a list of camps and their websites.
