Linebaugh Library provides free computer classes

Murfreesboro, TN - Linebaugh Public Library offers the following free computer classes in the month of February, 2011:  Basic Computer Skills, Introduction to the Internet/Email Basics, and Basic classes in most Microsoft Office programs. Additional classes this month include Introduction to Social Networking (Facebook/Twitter), Introduction to Web Design, and Introduction to the Open Office productivity suite (to
include Open Office Writer). The library also partners with the United Way’s Preparing Adults for Self Sufficiency (PASS) program providing workshops covering skills needed to get a job and one-on-one resume assistance.

All computer classes are free and are on a first come basis, no pre-registration required. There is a 24 per class limit and a sign-up sheet will be posted ½ hour before class start. There are 16 computers available in the lab; wireless is available and students are welcome to bring laptops..
