Many photographers do not like to work with animals; I prefer it! For the month of July, my sitting fee for a 30 minute photography session with your furry friend is $30! That covers 30 minutes at the location of your choice within 15 miles of Smyrna, TN; all of the pictures are then yours to print wherever you want!

Shrek was picked up as a stray. He is a 2 year old gentle, playful boy and loves other dogs. He pretty much ignores cats.
Shrek is great with kids. He would be a great companion for toddlers and older kids. He is great with other dogs and gives lots of kisses to them. He loves to chase lightning bugs and watches birds fly in the sky.
Shrek's foster family hasn't noticed any behavior issues, but, he can get a little protective of his food and chewy. He does get a little nervous in new surroundings. He knows his basic commands, like sit & no.

Batman is a small size dog and will need room to run and play. He is a very sweet and loving dog and loves being around people. He was rescued in McMinnville; he shows signs of physical abuse. He will need a loving home that will take the time to show him love and will treat him right. He does well with other dogs & will be a great family dog. He loves being around people and being loved on. Batman can jump a 5 foot fence...he may be climbing them (he is Batman, after all), but he will need a tall privacy fence, constant outside supervision, or some other method of confinement.

I was a stray when a local lady called the rescue to see if they could give me a safe place to live. I've been so excited to have other dogs to play with that I don't know what way to go first. It took me a few days to learn the rules and how to properly behave with other dogs, but now I love wrestling and running and playing tug-a-war. I'm working on my housebreaking and love snuggling on a bed. I am a very athletic guy, though, and can jump a 4 foot fence easily, so I can't be left unattended in a yard for my own safety!
Brady is a sweet 6 month old (July 2010) puppy that weighs about 20 pounds and is very friendly and loving! While Brady has come a long way living with other dogs, he would probably be best as an only dog. He is fine with them, but he does pick fights. He seems to be better with females than males.

Alvin was pulled from a kill shelter in rural KY. He's very sweet and nearly fully housebroken. We don't know his history; he was brought in as a stray. He does however have scar tissue on the bottom of his throat. This makes us think he had a collar embedded that did damage to his larynx as a baby.
Alvin is still pretty young - about a year old. He's on the small side for medium dogs or the large side for small dogs; maybe 15 or 20 pounds. He's very active and loves to play. Extremely friendly and outgoing and never meets a stranger, whether it be human or animal. He love squeaky toys and balls to play fetch.
We had to guess at his breed and came up with beagle and cattle dog. But if you ask me, he's 100% pure bred Kentucky Brown Dog. I've pulled a few dogs from this shelter now and they all seem to look similar. Brown with black tips. Short, usually a bit long. They all seem to have mostly beagle in them with some cattle dog, but also maybe just a drop of chow and german shepherd. His true genetic make up will probably never be known, but we do know he's full of love and desperately wants a family that he can share it with. Would that be you?
Alvin is UTD on vaccinations and neutered. He is parasite free and current on preventatives.
