Terry Ryan, President of Performance Steel, was named Diplomat of the Month for August.

"I have so enjoyed Terry this year as a first year Diplomat," said Kelli Beam, Director of Membership. "Terry came to us last year applying for the Diplomat program. I was a bit surprised because he was the president of his company. What I found was a business man that wanted to get out from behind a desk and phone to meet more people in the community he does business in and lives in.Terry knows so many people in this community and it has been a pleasure working with him this year.  He brings such detail and professionalism to our team."

Terry is from Smyrna and currently lives in Readyville. He graduated from Auburn University.  He and his wife, Linda, have two children, Douglas and Kathryn.

He also serves on the Nashville State Community College advisory board for the Architectural/Civil Engineering Technology School.  He serves as board member for Heaven Sent Children (adoption agency), and Boy Scouts of America Troop 456 Committee Member and past Scout Master.
