Meet the Locals Jennifer Dye

“I love being able to give back to a community that has given so much to me.” This is the way of thinking for Jennifer Dye, co-founder of Generations Home Care and this week’s featured local.

Generations Home Care provides senior health care services that are personalized and flexible in order to help the elderly live independently within their homes. Jennifer has fifteen caregivers who take the time to go into people’s homes to bathe them, tidy up their homes and simply talk with them.

Jennifer has lived in Murfreesboro for over 20 years, and claims to love this community more than ever. A MTSU graduate, she began her career in marketing. After taking a break to spend time with her family, Jennifer decided to get back into the professional world. She took a position with a home care service and soon developed a passion and love for helping others.

“I have been in this industry for years, and I have the experience to know what works,” explained Jennifer. “I am interested in helping families through difficult times.”

When Jennifer isn’t out helping the community, you can find her cheering on her 10 year-old daughter’s basketball team. Her family has been in the same neighborhood for 12 years and is as happy as the day they moved in.

Generations Home Care is a company based on Christian principles, and Jennifer lives her life by those same principles. Her family is heavily involved in their church, Fellowship United Methodist.

“I love so many things about Murfreesboro,” commented Jennifer. “But what really makes this community great is the excellent city school system and the way you have amenities of a big city with a small town feel.”
