Meet the Locals Julie Sibbett
Making your mark as an entrepreneur can be tough, but with the right strategy and exceptional service, they make a market competitive and diverse. That is exactly what this week’s local is doing for Murfreesboro’s photography industry.
Julie Sibbett decided to expand her hobby into a profession and launched JFN Photography in January 2010.
“I enjoy bringing people together, and I just love making those moments last,” commented Julie.
With an innovative approach to marketing, business is already good for Julie with weekends booked for March. Julie gives her Facebook fans special pricing advantages along with having special monthly rates.
“Right now I schedule mostly newborn sessions, but I want to expand across the board,” Julie explained. She offers a variety of packages for different age milestones and even has maternity shoots for mommies-to-be.
This mother of twin boys is constantly on the go. Juggling a new business and a family can get complicated, but Julie always finds time for her clients. She even began furthering her education in the photography industry by taking courses through New York Institute.
She started taking an interest in photography after collecting antique cameras from her father. “After he passed in 2000, I decided to pursue my passion, and I know that would make him happy.”Julie named her business after her father’s initials as a tribute to him.
