Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Diplomat of the Month Dana Cox
Dana Cox OTR/L, owner of DreamCatchers Occupational Therapy Services, Inc., was named Diplomat of the Month for June.
"Dana has served as a diplomat since 2007," said Kelli Beam, Director of Membership. "Along with starting her own occupational therapy facility in 2004, Dana continues to stay active in the community through the Chamber and other civic and social committees. She is a great example of how a small business owner can use the Chamber to grow and bring awareness to their business."
Dana has been a resident of Rutherford County for 26 years. She has been practicing pediatric occupational therapy for 10 years. DreamCatchers Occupational Therapy Services, Inc. has recently applied for non-profit status that will ensure that all children are given an opportunity to have therapy at little or no cost to the family.
"It is my wish to shine a beacon of hope into the lives of the children served by DreamCatchers by encouraging the belief that we all have a 'significant contribution' to make in this lifetime and every dream be realized," said Dana.
She also serves on the Family Support Board for the United Cerebral Palsy, is a member of the Junior League of Murfreesboro and serves as a Friend of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
