MURFREESBORO, TN. ~ March 12, 2010 ~ All local residents will have the opportunity to create original artwork for the 4th Annual Taste of Stones River official T-shirt design. The committee for Taste of Stones River, which will take place on Saturday, August 28 at The Avenue Murfreesboro, is anticipating a variety of creative entries and has identified the following age groups and prize levels: Grades K - 8 and Grades 9 –12 each have the chance to win a $50 cash prize and Adult Ages 18 and up have the chance to win a $100 cash prize. All age groups are eligible to have their design featured on the T-shirt.

Judging will be based on originality and creativity, and judges are looking for a design that captures the spirit of the event and incorporates a food theme. Last year’s winner was Shane Read of Murfreesboro. His original design was featured on the event T-shirts.

All winners will receive special recognition at the Taste of Stones River event, which will be held from 4pm – 8pm.
